My December Challenge || Christmas Present Ideas

Post Number 2 - Xmas Present Ideas

I know how hard it is to think of presents for other people and sometimes I just need a little bit of inspiration.  My Dad and brother are especially hard to buy for because they love things that are either too expensive for me to buy or they already have it. So here are some ideas and inspirations for Christmas presents under different price ranges;

Presents Under £5

Lush Bombs
- these are especially nice for those people who you know love a good bath, Lush always do a great range of Christmas bath bombs and bath melts so go have a look online here or have a look next time you go past one of their shops.

Nail Varnish - I know many of my friends love some good nail varnish and many brands, like Barry M, do beautiful colours and good quality nail varnish ranging from £2.99-£3.99, which is perfect price for a little stocking filler.

Chocolate - If in doubt get someone chocolate. There are so many different types out around now, from normal chocolate box selections to Christmasy chocolates.  Chocolates are always a good idea for something extra as well and they are usually on offer, like this Lindt Chocolate gift set was 3 for £10!

Face Masks - I think these are amazing stocking fillers or to add a little something extra for someone's present as they tend to only cost £1 from high street drug stores like Superdrug. There are various types; you can get peel off masks or the mud masks where you scrub of; there are many different scents/flavours and there's different beneficial outcomes of the face mask.

Straw Glasses - I think this is good present for a joker, or someone who doesn't mind a laugh.  I have seen these for several years now and I decided to get one for my brother when I saw them in WHSmiths for £3.99.  They are just something a little different and aren't too expensive.

Candles - I know loads of people who love a good candle and Yankee Candles do an amazing amount of different scents.  In Asda at the moment the small 'sample' candles are only £1 and a medium jar is around £9.  Yankee Candles have an amazing Christmas Edition scent range so it would be good for those candle lovers :)

 Presents Between £5- £12

CDs
- many artists bring out their albums around this time of year, so there are so many you can pick from.  One Direction's new album FOUR is amazing, Taylor Swift's album 1989 is also good along with McBusted's.
For a cheaper way of buying presents for music lovers is to buy them an EP (a single) for only about £2.99

Drug-store Make-Up - this could just be some make-up you know your friend absolutely loves or you know she is running out.

Books - at the moment Amazon has a sale on, what seems to be, all books so if you know someone who is a book lover or is a fan of a band and they have a book out the best place to go would be Amazon.

Presents Between £15-£25

Elephant Memo - This is an unusual present which is cute and useful and my friend came across it on the internet so I thought I would get it her but because if was £15 I paired up with Izzy and split the cost.  But this is a very good present for people that like to be organised or love animals.  Here's a link for it from paperchase.

DVDs - some DVDs may be cheaper than £10 but recent ones tend to be £10+ but recently in HMV I have seen Disney movies on the BOGOF offer which is amazing for those Disney lovers.  Also Sainsburys have Disney DVD's for only £7 at the moment.

Video games - I know the most popular video games can be a lot more that £25 but there are still a good range of video games below £25.  I think it would be cool if you get someone a game they wouldn't necessarily buy themselves as it is a bit random so it will be a bit more interesting and unusual.

High End Make-up - If you cannot afford high-end make up on your own for a friend or family member of yours who love their make-up maybe get together with a group of people so you could split the cost as this type of make-up can be expensive and possibly even more than £25.

Make-up brushes - there is a massive price range for make-up brushes but I would recommended the Real Techniques brushes but they are quite expensive but totally worth the money.

Clothes - if you know your friend or a family member has been eyeing up a certain piece of clothing then that would be a good present, you could get band merchandise T-Shirt for a friend who is in a band fandom or you could make a personalised T-Shirt on the many websites so you could put inside jokes on it etc.

Presents Above £25

Presents becoming higher than £25 tend to be more specific or personal so I don't think I can be very useful but here are some generic gifts for over £25.

Concerts tickets - some concert tickets are cheaper but most concert tickets are around £30-£45 nowadays, so if you know your friend wants to go to see a certain band but can't afford to go, maybe this would be a good idea if you have enough money.

Shoes - many shoes are over £25 so if you know someone who have their eyes on a pair of shoes maybe you and a few friends could chip in together to get the shoes as a joint present.

Hope you liked this post and it gave you some ideas for those people you have no clue of what to buy them.  I am already getting extremely excited for Christmas so here's a gif of Phil doing a Christmas Dance! :)
